Both the Epicurious website and the Flamenco image search provide excellent examples of how a facet-based approach can be implemented. However, there is a potential difficulty in interpreting the findings from EB. For example, the evidence of Baddeley and Warrington (1970) and others seemed at one time to provide strong support for the multi-store approach discussed in Chapter 6. For example, retention and elimination for the anal zone; The psychosocial modality, or the social analogy that can be associated with each respective mode. Indeed, the distinction between these two theories is paralleled by a distinction in logic, between logics based on syntactic methods using proofs and semantic methods using models.

This effect has been repeated many times in studies possessing much more representativeness. It can also be defined as “the programming of computer systems to simulate human thinking in making judgments and decisions” (Wood, Wood, & Boyd, 2011, p 229). There is no single computational model of mind, since different kinds of computers and programming approaches suggest different ways in which the mind might work. We will consider each of the three routes in turn.

The disorder covers a large spectrum of symptoms, skills, and levels of impairment. These effects may involve difficulties of gaining access to the original memory (e.g., because of interference) as was proposed by Loftus (1992), or they may depend on source misattribution. Cognitive psychologists have tried to reach a greater understanding of human memory (see memory ) and language. For example, as Pickering (1999, p. 127 pointed out, “Parallel models differ,…depending on how many analyses are maintained, what kind of ranking [of analyses] is employed, how long the different analyses are considered for, or whether parallelism is only employed under certain conditions.” We will consider the most influential serial approach (the garden-path model) and the most influential parallel approach (the constraint-based theory of MacDonald, Pearlmutter, and Seidenberg, 1994).
